Project: Pharmhub
PharmHub is an order and patient tracking application for small remote pharmacist to implement an all-in-one application to improve precision and efficiency. The user interacts with it using a CLI, and it has a GUI created with JavaFX. It is written in Java, and has about 10 kLoC.
Given below are my contributions to the project.
New Feature: CRUD for medicine ,addm, listm, findm, deletem, sfm
-
What it does: It allows the user to add a medicine, delete a medicine, list all medicine, find a medicine and update a medicine with its short form. Medicines are also stored in same storage file as persons.
-
Justification: This feature allows the application to maintain medicines as a fundamental type rather than string. As such, it allows for better invalid medicine detection and duplicate detection. It also allows for the user to enter short form for a medicine which will save a signficant time when entering the full form of the medicine over and over again.
